Privacy Policy
Dodging Adulthood is a free browser game made by Emem Adjah. This page explains what information the game collects and how it's used. In short: almost nothing is collected, and nothing leaves your device.
What's stored, and where
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage, on your own device only:
- Your best score for each mode (Standard and Intense)
- Your light/dark theme choice and sound on/off setting
- Whether you've dismissed the one-time information notice
None of this is sent to a server. There's no account, no sign-in, and no way for us to see your data, your device, or who you are. If you clear your browser's site data or switch devices, this information is gone and starts fresh.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall traffic, like how many people visit and roughly where from. It doesn't use cookies or any persistent identifier, and it doesn't track you individually across visits or other sites. No personal data is collected.
Sharing your result
If you choose to share your score, the X, Threads, or Facebook buttons open that platform's own share flow in a new tab. Those are third-party sites with their own privacy practices, separate from ours. We don't receive anything about what you share or with whom.
Children's privacy
Dodging Adulthood isn't directed at children. Its subject matter (taxes, debt, job loss) is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this changes
If we ever add advertising (for example, through Google AdSense) or any other feature that involves cookies or data collection, we'll update this policy before that happens, and where required by law (for visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or California) we'll ask for your consent or offer an opt-out through an on-page tool before anything is set.
